I don’t often get too personal here, unless it involves the past, so here it goes. I’ve been dating John Burke for nearly four years now. We’ve had so many wonderful times together so far, and I just want him to publicly know how much he means to me! Here’s to many more years of concerts and other plans!

How happy I am for you. You two look like you really enjoy being together. I think one of the most important things you can have in life is a best friend, someone you really like being around and doing things with. I have often thought the reason so many marriages today fail is the concentration put on physical or emotional attraction. I have been married for 56 years and the man I married was and is my best friend. Someone I liked being with, had fun with, and made me laugh. It has been the adventure of a lifetime, and I don’t think it would have lasted if we had not liked each other before we loved each other. Congratulations on finding someone you enjoy being with and who knows where it could lead. Let him know I think he is blessed to have a friend like you. Donnie
